We’ve been so busy we haven’t eaten out much lately, so we were glad of the chance to join Rick and Therese at Bubba‘s. I was starving, and glad to assuage meat guilt with buffalo. That’s a lot of meat per sentient being, and helps bring back buffalos, right? If you’re not hungry, maybe you need something fancy to eat. But I was starving, and so a burger was just fine by me. It was delicious, with the beer on this cool April evening. I could only imagine what it must have been like at Bubba’s when all the construction on Westpark was occurring. Squeezed between two freeways, each running high above us, we could only hope for no rail-hopping wrecks.
Except for the occasional ambulance, it was a pleasant dinner outside on an old picnic table with friends. We’re close to home, and the food came quickly. We never came here before, but now we’ll miss it when we move to St. Louis.
Maybe that’s Bubba himself!
Or than a cold beer – maybe they were out of As.
It’s colorful in there!
That’s Westpark out the window.
Just behind us is 59, right before the 610 intersection.
Not a bad buffalo burger!
The jalapeño potato salad was great!
If you can’t read it, that is $35.00 per week, for child care with hot meals and snacks, and maybe the counseling is extra?
